Our Stewardship Practice
Our Stewardship Team provides expertise in the field daily to ensure the protection of people, our natural resources and our environment.At Bayer CropScience we do more than just comply with the rules and regulations. We work together with our partners in the industry and in our communities to address issues where our products are used in fields, orchards, vineyards, recreational areas and home in which our products guard against the ravages of insects, diseases and weeds.
We practice stewardship by:
- Developing training and education for our employees and yours;
- Improving worker safety;
- Preventing misuse by educating workers, customers and the communities where they’re used;
- Participating in container recycling;
- Reviewing application practices to minimize environmental impacts;
- Working with our customers to ensure that our products are sold and stored properly;
- Providing emergency response teams;
- Conducting research to protect human health and the environment; and
- Providing our Stewardship Team’s expertise in the field daily to ensure the protection of people, our natural resources and our environment.
