 Since July 1, 2004, Jacques du Puy has been a member of the Executive Committee of Bayer CropScience and is responsible for the Crop Protection business Europe / TAMECIS*, based in Lyon, France.
Jacques du Puy was borne on March 6, 1958 in Saumur, France. He graduated from Agro-Paris (Agricultural Engineering University) and later on from IAE Paris (Business school of the Sorbonne University). In 1982 he joined Rhône-Poulenc Agro in France as Sales Engineer then transferred to various business positions including the management of Cérès, the group seed technology unit. From 1995 onwards he spent 8 years in Asia as country head of India and later on of Japan. In September 2002 he was appointed Deputy Head of the Region Europe, based in Lyon.
Jacques du Puy is married and has two sons.
