Vector and locust control
Vector control means the use of products for the prevention or control of the vectors of diseases of humans including malaria, dengue and chagas disease. Vector control also includes the use of insecticides for personal protection such as impregnated bed nets.

Locust control is the application of insecticides for the control of locusts and grasshoppers before they damage crops.
